Supervision & Consultation
For PLPCs pursuing licensure. For licensed counselors who want more than a signature.
Good supervision is not a checkbox. It’s not about logging hours or getting a signature. It’s about becoming a counselor who knows their craft, knows their clients, and knows themselves well enough to stay honest in the room.
That’s the supervision I offer. It will challenge you. It will ask you to look at your cases and at yourself. It will also support you in doing work you genuinely believe in — including pushing back on systems that aren’t serving your clients.
If that’s what you’re looking for, let’s talk.
WHAT SUPERVISION LOOKS LIKE
I approach supervision collaboratively. I’m not here to tell you what to do — I’m here to think alongside you, challenge your assumptions, and help you develop your own framework as a clinician. You are the one in the room with your clients. That matters. Your perspective matters.
That said, I will hold you accountable. We will talk about the gap between what we think and what we say — and what that gap means for the people we serve. We will talk about your reactions and your responses, not to judge them but to understand them. You are human. Your feelings are valid. And this work is about your clients, so we check in on that.
I work from a culturally aware and responsive framework. We will talk about systems, about power, about the complexity of practicing ethically in a world that makes ethical practice hard. We will also talk about technology — how you use it, what your clients expect of it, and what the ethics of digital practice actually require of you.
Self-care is not optional. We will talk about that too.

DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Before we begin
My Supervision Disclosure Statement outlines my qualifications, philosophy, approach, and expectations in detail. I ask that all supervisees and consultation clients read it before our first session. If anything in it raises questions, I welcome that conversation — that’s actually a good sign.
